June 26th, 2014These people say my laptop is infected and I need to switch it on and they will run through what I need to do with it, this is the second time in a week I have had this call and they are very persistant about me turning on my laptop (which I would not do), but they do not want to hear the words no thanks, anyone had the same, these are of an indian type nationality.

0012083116688 is one of many international numbers that have recently telephoned. Research indicates a company trying to offer a service wanting to cheek your computer for virus etc. etc. this company either have a lot of different telephone numbers they use or it is a coincidence that there appears to be many different company’s offering a PC/Laptop virus cheeck or fix service. I can only say they are very persistent and on some occasions willing to use scare tacticts in getting you to turn your computer on and letting them talk you into allowing them to access your PC/Laptop from a remote location. ITS A SCAM, DONT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO DOING ANYTHINK.
