January 22nd, 201110am.. Just received a call from 0234567890
A western gentleman phoned and said "I had to go to my computer and he would give me instructions on how to delete a virus". I told him that I was fully protected and I was not interested, then closed the call.
I then dialled 1471 to obtain the number. Found you (whocallsme) on the internet and knew it was a scam, so reported it to my phone company to get the number barred.
Thanks for all your help. It is a pity that phone companies cannot bar this number at source. Dave

I thought this was a silent call; I put down the receiver, but when I pressed 1471 there was a voice finishing off talking, so even when the receiver was fully down, this message was still going!

I also received this ridiculous call from apparently the world wide web, I asked for his phone number but he evaded it by becoming increasingly agitated by the state of my “windows” updates. I told him that they updated automatically and I chose which ones I updated, but he insisted that my apparent use of his East London server was showing I had serious errors. When I asked him about www he could not answer my questions and my error got increasingly worse, then I told him I had an IT degree and was happy that my security was good. Suddenly I got cut off! Surprise surprise!
