Automatic dialling, as a number of seconds before a human voice.
Strange part was that they asked for the previous house owner - didn't have the same phone number when she lived here, and that was six years ago

Got a call from 0444208 today at 10.18 on answer it was silent. I put the phone down , but then thought it might be one of these scams that charge u on answering.

received a call from this number asking to speak to my daughter Sally, I said she wasn’t here they then said could I answer a 1 minute survey and could I start by confirming my address, I then told them that I did not know who they were and I didn’t ask them to call me so I was not going to give out any information to them……………they hung up!!!!!
