March 8th, 2011I got a call today from this number claiming to be the ATO in canberra. They said I was 1 of 11000 people selected to receive a special refund of $3642. Because i put my returns in on time and pay my bills on time and because of where I live. Was told i needed to call the number back and give them my id number A202. They said I needed to go to thev post office and get a western union form so they could send me the money through centrelink. Don't know how they got my details eg. name and address. The people were indian and hard to understand and they were talking to someone in the background, and i got put on hold for a long time. The phone had rung a couple of times before that but they had hung up... could have really used that money - spewin!
