March 3rd, 2011An asian lady called Mary telephoned knowing my name, when asked how she obtained an exdirectory number and where was she calling from , she immediately put the phone down; Fortunately Iam concious of such calls but it seems that someone somewhere has elicited confidential telephone numbers and names.

Just had a call from this number, an asian woman asking for my husband by name. I said he wasn’t in, and asked her who was calling. She said ‘Complete Building Systems’, then hung up.

Called me and asked personal details so she could send me info on a carbon-saving investment opportunity….she seemed baffled when I told her I was unwilling to provide personal details to a stranger on a ‘cold call’…..while they never learn, many folk engage with these boiler-room fraudsters

man who called himself nathan phoned saying that he was from ENERGY SAVING COUNCIL
ASKED WHO MY GAS AND ELECTRIC SUPPLIER WAS AND HOW I PAID MY BILLS
HE KNEW MY NAME AND MY ADDRESS ASKED IF I RECEIVED MY BILLS ON LINE AND HOW I PAID MY BILLS
TOLD HIM I WAS NOT PREPARED TO PROCEED WITH CONVERSATION AND I RANG OFF
